Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. Can you believe that it is 3 years TODAY since the very first hop? I'm very proud to have been onboard from the very beginning, with only a few breaks here and there when I've travelled. I am Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator from South Morang, Victoria, Australia and have been part of Stampin' Up! for 9 years in February. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. I run classes at my home studio, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project for friends and family.
I nominated Coastal Cabana, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo as my three favourite colours, I guess that makes the 'Brights' my favourite colour family.
The Timeless Tropical Bundle has just made its way into my craft room and I was very excited to try using it for this birthday card. I'm experimenting with my brayer at the moment and the blue and pink brayered onto this SAB paper (Golden Honey SDSP) looks quite luscious. I brayered ink onto the Coastal Weave embossing folder too, as this gives a greater defination of the texture.
The hibiscus and frangipani stamp out so clearly and the dies make it so easy to make them the feature of the card. I wanted to use the Melon Mambo pins and the tags with the shimmery edge, even though they're retired, BUT they are in Clearance for only $3.50 for the pack, I've even ordered some more today because they are so handy.
An off cut of the coloured DSP and another small piece of the ribbon are a nice way to finish off the inside of the card. Now it's your turn to make a birthday card using your favourite three colours, or use one of the design team's three if you can't decide. Pin it to our Facebook page.
As I'm the last participant in this Birthday Blog hop, if you haven't seen all 22 offerings by our design team past & present, you should click on 'next' to check out Bronwyn Eastley's wonderful project in such lovely soft shades too.

I'd love you to choose my online shop to purchase from, use the Host Code when asked at check out, & I will send you a gift, along with a handmade card. The items listed below were used in my project above, and link to that item in my online shop. It is SALE-A-Bration at Stampin' Up! and for every $90 you order, you get a free pick from the SAB catalogue. Some items do require a larger spend, as they have a greater value, but it is worth keeping in mind if you're only a few dollars short of the $90 target, you could add some dimensionals, or multi-purpose glue.
