The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too. You may have just arrived from Sandra Collett in New Zealand and now you are visiting the blog of Rachel Palmieri in Melbourne, Australia.
It really is too hard to pick a favourite retiring product when so many that have been a part of our lives for only 6 months up and leave. I do like 'Catch You Later' on page 63 of the January- June mini catalogue, especially the cat gazing into the fish bowl.
My scrap jar has multiples of coloured strips, some slight differences in width depending on if I were cutting a base or a layer, but the frugality of weaving random strips appealed to me.
We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

Such a cute card! I love how the elephant is peeking out from behind the leaves. The different coloured strips give the card a different look too.
ReplyDeleteAww! Adorableness overload! I agree, the elephant reminds me of Dumbo.
ReplyDeleteI like your loose woven mixed colour background. Puts the wee elephant in a faux jungle. He is a little bit Dumbo like, I agree. Hard set to resist!
