Colour Creations - Real Red

The participants in Colour Creations are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. This is week 39 of Colour Creations Blog Hop, and as we use the colours alphabetically, we are up to Real Red.
With all the black & white DSP around, it seemed a fun idea to punch some with the Regular Postage Stamp Punch. I'd noticed this idea on page 26 of the Jan to June mini, and CASEd it.

These cards will be my customer 'thank you' cards for March, it's quite easy to make multiples and bonus is, it's an easy card for the customer to CASE too.

Two recent-release embossing folders were featured on the red card too. Gingham EF is the full postage stamp, the half is Splatters. Stripes & Splatters is a pair of small EF, suitable for the mini SU Cut and Emboss machine.

The sentiment is from Boughs & Blossoms and a couple of branches were punched with the Bough Punch.

Next we head to the lovely, talented Kathryn Mangelsdorf and her piano card.

If at any time you find a broken link, please head to the blog of this week’s host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, CathyProctor, and she will have the list of all participants.

  1. Rachel, this looks like the kind of quilt I love to make! What a fabulous idea to adhere the punched out shaped in that layout and to use all the black and white DSP to make the Real Red really pop!
