ctc #292 CASE A Sketch

Today we are CASE-ing the sketch from page 159, and a sketch of the design has been provided to help you out. We love you to take the challenge to CASE, and share your project on our Facebook page.

This week I have been working mainly with the Boho Indigo Product Medley on page 9 of the Annual Catalogue, and Forever Gold Laser cut paper was nearby too. That was released to co-ordinate with the Forever Greenery Suite on pages 108-110. Of course, all Stampin' Up! products mix and match beautifully, so I was happy to use a couple of the rectangles as the top rectangle of the sketch.

There's only a little stamping here with a vase and the sentiment. Isn't the font on that greeting so sweet? I used the reverse white side of the rectangle here, as it seemed to suit the Boho paper better. The  Product Medley includes stamps, dies, paper and labels to stamp on, plus embellishments.

For the second card, a base in Very Vanilla is used with a pre-embossed piece of Very Vanilla from the Product Medley as the second layer. The label and gold flower are also from the Boho Medley. This time the gold side of the Laser cut paper is on diplay with a couple of stamped vases and the luscious Old Olive/Pretty Peacock ribbon.
Just for variety I picked a different birthday sentiment.

The lovely Michelle Strazds follows me this week.

  2. Both of your cards are fabulous, Rachel. It is a great layout for using the rectangle die cuts. I can't go past the blue and white as my fave :).

  3. I love how different your two cards look even though they are quite similar. My favourite is definitely the blue card, but my favourite colour is blue.
