CASE from the Die Bundles CTC#284

Nothing Better Than

CASE-ing The Catty are CASE-ing any die bundle from page 173-179 of the Annual catalogue this week. Bundles are a great way to purchase your new products because you get 10% discount on the stamp and dies, or stamp and punch, when they are first introduced to the range. This lasts for the life of the catalogue, which is 11 months in the case of this Annual catalogue, much shorter when products are in the mini catalogues though!

Looking through those pages, I realised that I hadn't ever used Nothing Better Than bundle, which you can see on page 176 of the AC. The illustration is of actual choccies in an acetate box, with a lovely label. It's a very cute gift for a friend, but I developed my idea for a card from that picture.

I waited on my husband to come home from doing the groceries, feeling quite certain that although chocolate wasn't on the shopping list, it would be in the bags - and it was!!!

The weekend treat became a photo prop! Can you see all the other treats that you can have? Cocktails, cookies and coffee, although for me, it always needs to be tea (and you can achieve that too, by reaaranging the last 3 letters of chocolate.

The 'chocolate' needed to have some texture, so I took an embossing tool and marked squares on the back of the scored Early Espresso card before placing the card on a piercing mat (see, they're not just handy for stamping with photo polymer stamps) and 'scribbled' within that square. It hasn't turned out exactly as I'd hoped, but I think it does look pretty good.

It is essential to finish off the inside as well, to add just a little more.

Have you some ideas on how to CASE from pages 173-179 with those bundles? You don't need to use the same stamps or dies, just Stampin' Up! products and the idea. Add your picture here on Facebook.
