Cajun Craze has been a part of the Stampin' Up! colour scheme for more than 10 years, but I've never been mad-keen for it. However, this year might be its year to shine, I think. It looks great teamed up with Crumb Cake and Night of Navy and I've used it with wood grain and Cinnamon Cider, and like that combo too.
The two background rectangles were left over from an earlier project, and the design was decided by the fact that I wanted to use this lovely diecut. The stamps have been set up for a while as I made a bunch of birthday cards with different sentiments.
The biggest difference this time was using a silicone mat with the new In Color re-inkers - Bumblebee, Just Jade & Misty Moonlight - and smooshing the round label into the ink. It wasn't difficult and just needed the heat tool to dry the paper a bit. Oh, and I'd stamped in black Stazon too, so the ink didn't run.
Although the Cajun Craze twine has retired, it's in the Clearance Rack with a lovely soft neutral ribbon for only $6.30, so I thought it was worth including.
