Red Poppies CTC#271 Week 2

This week at CASE-ing The Catty we are CASE-ing the Annual Catalogue! YAY! New products, new colours, new inspiration.

Sometimes when it is a 'free for all' like this week when we CASE anything, it is so hard to decide. I settled to CASE the sunflower card on page 13 of the catalogue, but chose to use Painted Poppies instead.

Cherry Cobbler and Real Red seem very bold against the Misty Moonlight DSP, but once it was all assembled, I was thrilled. The spots are gorgeous, and I'm sure the other side, a denim-look paper, would have looked just as good.

The sentiment is from Lovely You, and the Stitched So Sweetly dies were perfect, with the largest rectangle cutting the white panel, and the smallest cutting the little label. I had some retired wooden embellishments to use up, and I think they're a lovely addition.

Next you're heading over to view the amazing creativity of my stamping sister, Tina, in Adelaide.

We share our projects to inspire you to create and send cards. It would be wonderful if you CASE-d the Catalogue and shared your card or other project on our Facebook page.

I'd love you to choose my online shop to purchase from, use the Host Code when asked at check out, & I will send you a gift, along with a handmade card. It's extra hard at the moment to run an online business so any help you give by ordering is greatly appreciated. The items listed below were used in my project above, and link to that item in my online shop.

  6. That poppy looks amazing with the combination of stamping and die cutting. I love the way you've positioned the white panel on the front and you've made me realise how very "denim" coloured MM is! Looks fab with the red. Gorgeous card.
