Soft & Pretty CI#64

Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. Our inspiration picture this challenge features Highland Heather, Purple Posy and Garden Green.

It is quite fun sometimes to have a restricted colour palette, and this inspiration picture totally suggested which stamp to pick up.

Beautiful Friendship is a favourite stamp of mine from page 123 Annual Catalogue. I've used it lots in the last fortnight, it will feature in my October classes, both in-person and Craft By Post classes. I've made some packs of cards as raffle prizes too for some craft fairs I will be attending.

Although not strictly part of the colours, Perennial Essence DSP was close enough, used discreetly in the background. It adds a lovely bit of interest in the background.

Roses are a very easy-to-use stamp from Beautiful Friendship, a pair of roses, which you can see again on the inside of the card, and a small-ish single bloom. Two different leaf stamps allow you to scatter greenery wherever you choose, and the other flower might be wisteria, lilac or even buddliea (butterfly bush).

On To Adventure is a funny little stamp with comical people of mature years going on holiday, retiring etc. but I love this sweet verse which I've stamped on the inside of my congratulations card.

Now you are hopping over to Nikki Spencer and her fabulous project.

  1. Such a beautiful card inside and out. I must ink up those stamps.
