Classes are Back

With the restrictions easing a little now, I held a class for two ladies (sisters) last week. They were happy with how these three cards turned out after their 2½ hour session. Give me a call/email if you'd like to arrange a class/workshop for yourself and a friend. Everything provided, tools, stamps, card & envelopes - $25

Craft By Post For October - Beautiful Friendship

This month we are focussing on stamping with coloured ink. Initially, when I began stamping, I thought you stamped in black and coloured in with pens, pencils or markers. While this is one way, it definitely is not the only way to create!

To keep the cost of the class down, I have suggested only two colours for this set of cards – Flirty Flamingo (the strong, bright pink of the flowers and the card) and Old Olive for the green. Now if you happen to have one or both of these you can choose another two colours from the Stampin’ Up! range, there are 50 altogether. Crushed Curry was the yellow I used, and Seaside Spray is a lovely new blue, perfect for hydrangeas, so they are two more suggestions. If you happen to own lots of colourful inks, just imagine the gorgeous bouquets you can create!

This class costs you $85 including postage in a prepaid 500G bag.

SIGN UP: Email me now that you would like to participate, and whether you would like to add other products to your order. I will contact you regarding payment. Payment will be by direct deposit to my bank account or Paypal, as some of the class requirements are product shares. Class sign ups close 19th October and should be posted around two weeks after that. Class products and extras, plus detailed instructions will be mailed in a prepaid bag, so you will be notified of the tracking number when it is posted.

Soft & Pretty CI#64

Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project. Our inspiration picture this challenge features Highland Heather, Purple Posy and Garden Green.

It is quite fun sometimes to have a restricted colour palette, and this inspiration picture totally suggested which stamp to pick up.

Beautiful Friendship is a favourite stamp of mine from page 123 Annual Catalogue. I've used it lots in the last fortnight, it will feature in my October classes, both in-person and Craft By Post classes. I've made some packs of cards as raffle prizes too for some craft fairs I will be attending.

Although not strictly part of the colours, Perennial Essence DSP was close enough, used discreetly in the background. It adds a lovely bit of interest in the background.

Roses are a very easy-to-use stamp from Beautiful Friendship, a pair of roses, which you can see again on the inside of the card, and a small-ish single bloom. Two different leaf stamps allow you to scatter greenery wherever you choose, and the other flower might be wisteria, lilac or even buddliea (butterfly bush).

On To Adventure is a funny little stamp with comical people of mature years going on holiday, retiring etc. but I love this sweet verse which I've stamped on the inside of my congratulations card.

Now you are hopping over to Nikki Spencer and her fabulous project.
