Colour INKspiration is a fortnightly blog initiated by Bronwyn Eastley in Tasmania. The design team is made up of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from all parts of Australia and New Zealand. You are at the blog of Rachel Palmieri, Independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator. I run classes at my home studio in South Morang, Victoria, share Stampin' Up!® products and tools at parties for my customers, coach my lovely team and create cards and the occasional 3D project.
Colorful Seasons was the stamp set which jumped out at me for this challenge and in particular the co-ordinating dies, Seasonal Layers. It is a versatile set because there are leaves, blossoms, branches, snowflakes, sunchairs etc. The soothing colours suggested a sympathy/get well type card, and there is a suitable sentiment included in the stamp set.
It's hard to say if I like the stamped leaf or the die cut one best, they both have delicate details. Anyway, I ended up using both, while still trying to retain a clean, layered look.
There is a big doubled-up bow of linen thread, the lovely, neutral ribbon from the Magnolia Suite and 3 small coloured pearls to embellish this card.
The inside is mainly unadorned apart from two stamped leaves and layered with colour behind the white to give it a lift.
Perhaps these colours inspire you to create too, and if so, please add your creation to our Facebook Challenge page here.

I'd love you to choose my online shop to purchase from, and when you use the Host Code when asked at check out, I will send you a gift, along with a handmade card. The items listed below were used in my project above, and link to that item in my online shop.
