Mrs Moo Turns Green

This card is kind of a mish-mash of a whole lot of different projects! The cow was from last week's session of cow-card-making with Over The Moon, and Free As A Bird was still out from a visitor who made cards with me through last week as well. The burlap ribbon was left over from my last class and the watercolour panel... well, see the story of that below.

About two weeks ago I had a play with the NEW pigment sprinkles (page 179 of the Annual catalogue) and made a number of different pieces using combinations of the colours, but this was the first. The brilliance of the colours is impressive, with colours including Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Mango Melody and Melon Mambo.

The watercoloured panel was cut in half, and mounted on a Shaded Spruce base, isn't that a gorgeous green? Since the cow is holding a daisy, I stamped daisies from Daisy Lane on the base and across the panel. It's difficult to see that I've fussy-cut the cow and mounted it on a stitched oval.

On the inside of the card, I've stamped with one of the stamps from Gallery Grunge, and a sentiment from Free As A Bird.
I'd love you to choose my online shop to purchase from, and use the Host Code when asked at check out, I will send you a gift, along with a handmade card. Just pointing out that by buying the Daisy Lane bundle, you save $7 straight up. The items listed below were used in my card above, and link to that item in my online shop.
