AWH Blog Hop 2019-2020 New Catalogue

Tonight members of the Art With Heart Team are sharing creative projects using products from the new 2019-2020 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. If you would like a copy of the catalogue, get in touch with anyone participating in the blog hop and we will get one to you. I am in South Morang Victoria, and also spend a lot of time at Phillip Island, Vic.

I loved the stamp set 'It Starts With Art' the minute I saw it, so I was pretty happy to come home from Auckland Onstage with it in my hot little hands. Then there was the sad story of how I couldn't find it, no matter how much I tidied and put things away!!! I was longing to stamp, but no "It Starts With Art' anywhere. I had to get my husband to help out, so I showed him the style of stamp cover he's searching for, and opened the catalogue so he can refer to it.

Like a bloodhound, he was off. Faithfully following the scent, until he walked out of the craft room and put it in my hands. You'll never guess where he found it!!! I'd put it straight on the shelf in its alphabetical spot, not that I remembered doing that. DOH! Crafting Forever, which has been in the catalogue for a year or two, co-ordinates beautifully with the new addition. I believe it adds more value to both stamp sets when they have a 'companion' to pair up with. I'm a little bit keen on heat embossing sentiments onto black card at the moment, and have done that for this card also.

While I was waiting for my dies to arrive, I stamped this card front and spent a little time colouring the images and background with Stampin' Blends. I'm sure I could have left the background plain as well, but once it was started......well, I'm sure you understand.

Next you're heading to the very talented Kimberly and her wonderful project

  4. Oh my, I came home with this stamp set too, but it intimidates me so much! Your card is fabulous, and may encourage me to actually use it sooner rather than later. I love the background colouring, the perfect finishing touch.
