The sketch at Connie and Mary inspired me to put this more masculine birthday card together. Yesterday I had been asked if I had any of the I Am Me DSP left, and it turns out I had a LOT, so I vowed to use some up. I had bought a few packets because it related to travel and photography, two topics close to my heart.I have also spent the morning tidying my stamp set shelves and that allows me to "discover" stamp sets again, and that is always a lot of fun! The largest stamp from Starburst Sayings has been stamped in Calypso Coral, before layering on silver glimmer paper and another layer of black card. The little 'celebrate' image has been stamped in Real Red and layered up also. Its easy to choose colours by pulling them from the DSP.
I had a lovely evening last night when my son who lives furtherest away, stopped off for the night with his family. They were heading north to go camping with friends from his school days who have an annual camping trip in mid-November every year. My eldest grandson was happy to play with his little sister in Pop's hammock, while Gran worried if they would fall out! Fortunately they didn't. It meant an early start for me this morning so I had plenty of time to get things done.
