Birthday Curry PP223

Yesterday I finished an order for Christmas cards, and my customer was rather partial to Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay, so those colours were on my table this morning when I began work on this birthday card for the Paper Players Challenge. I'm not sure if I might have preferred it with all the colours reversed, there is a LOT of curry here!
I've stamped with Gorgeous Grunge, And Many More(inside) and Blue Ribbon. I had my Crop-o-dile out to punch holes in multiple gift tags, so it was easy to punch a hole through multiple layers of card and paper to insert a brad to hold the banners.

Now if you're wanting to play along at The Paper Players Challenge, you'll need to get a wriggle on.......

Here's another snap of my birthday curry!

Have a great weekend!

  1. I love this...what a great watercolor feel to your card! Perfect use of images, colors and that great Happy Birthday sentiment! Love the brad & banners too! Thanks so much for playing with my sketch this week at the Paper Players!

  2. Wow! I love the splashes of colors, Rachel! The starburst medallion is awesome. Great idea to hold the banner in place with a brad! Thanks for playing with The Paper Players!

  3. Rachel, I love the colors that you picked! The watercolor feel to your card makes me smile! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players this week! XX

  4. I love the colours on this card! And anything using Gorgeous Grunge gets my vote!
