I haven't had the nerve to post anything yet, but thought it was about time to dip my toes in! I have been playing a lot with the goodies I ordered from the Stampin' Up Autumn-Winter mini catalogue.
These mini catalogues are always good, but this one REALLY appeals to me with stamps, dies, embossing folders and luscious new pleated ribbon. As always, the items all co-ordinate with each other. The framelits label dies fit beautifully around the Apothecary Art label stamps, making cutting out a breeze and giving you more time to watercolour all the sweet flowers! The Mixed Bunch stamp set with three large flowers and three smaller ones (or flower centres) has a matching punch to make cutting out those blossoms ever-so-easy too. I hope to have cards using these products, ready to share very soon.
I though I would share two cards made using the stamp set, Bordering on Romance, another gorgeous set from this mini, perfect for water colouring. I like using the Stampin' Write Markers with a blender pen because I find that easier to graduate the density of colour. I find it is just so relaxing to sit and water colour! I used the satin pleated ribbon on both these cards because it seems to add a touch of luxury. It comes in four colours: Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzaz, Baja Breeze and Riding Hood Red. On the top card I used a retired DSP but the other card shows off some of the Twitterpated DSP also from the mini catalogue.
I hope to be back very soon to share more Stampin' Up products on my projects.
