Contributors to this blog hop are all members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart group. We love chatting, crafting and getting together in person. At the weekend 56 Stampin' Up! demonstrators from 2 teams gathered in the city for an event celebrating 35 years of Stampin' Up!
This week we are show-casing a returning colour to the Stampin' Up! core colour range - Berry Burst.
A simple card design for this week's card, a circle of Masterfully Made DSP, some indistinct words stamped at random in Berry Burst, amd a couple of leaves in Pretty Peacock.
My friend Andrea Sargent is next on the hop, and her project is going to be GORGEOUS!
If at any time you find a broken link or would like to see a full list of participants, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor.
Rachel, it was so lovely to see you in person on the weekend! I love this card, especially the tip about pulling the silver twine apart and using it behind the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteYour 'curly sparkle' is gorgeous, no wonder you've taken a liking to it! I would have, too. Such a pretty card - I love the mix of Berry Burst and Pretty Peacock, and the background stamping is perfection.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully put-together card, Rachel! I love the circle of that dramatic DSP, and the balance of colour in your stamping. The silver thread touch is lovely.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Rachel. The stamp set is one that keeps tempting me and you might have made it even harder to resist. Great idea to separate the threads of the silver twine.
ReplyDeleteI love the DSP circle element with the random stamping behind and the gorgeous green leaves. That silver trim is so delicate when pulled apart and looks fabulous behind the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI love the Gorgeously Made stamp set and dies, and you have showcased them beautifully on your card! I love doing this to the silver twine too, haha.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous use of Gorgeously Made :) I love the circle of DSP, and the combination of Berry Burst with Pretty Peacock, and such a great way to use the silver twine.
ReplyDeleteLove this card and the silver twine tip is great.
