CTC#361 CASE An Animal Card

The CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

Our challenge this week is to CASE an animal card from either catalogue. I had a couple in mind, and then I spied a mouse card on page 90 of the mini catalogue. Mischievous Mice is a host set, which you can become eligible to add on, if your order reaches $250. You can either spend this yourself, gather friends for a stamping event with you as the host, or pass around a catalogue to see if anyone is after crafting supplies.

The main points I've CASEd are the two ticket die cut pieces, from Sports Events dies, the die cut Stitched Rectangle, and a stamped image at the bottom of the plain ticket, with a sentiment above.

Flowing Flowers, on page 36 of the J-J mini catalogue, was a must-have when I saw it. The soft, water-coloured flowers, the mix of fonts on the sentiments, and the messages in the sentiments are all very appealing.

The colour choice was decided by the piece of DSP, but I can imagine it in all shades, pastel and bold.

The simplest of stamping to finish the inside of the card.

We love having you join in our challenges. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE, and let us know which card or project you've CASE-d. No blog required, no special qualifications.

  1. A lovely card. I like how the sentiment on the black pops. Great choice of DSP, colours and stamp set.

  2. Such a pretty feminine card. Great choice of DSP so it doesn't distract or overpower. I like your embossed greeting on the black with the angled edge. Those ticket dies look great!
