What's Your Number?

I bought 25 Days, a photopolymer stamp from the upcoming (28th August) Holiday Catalogue, because
although it is intended for Christmas, I can see a huge potential for number birthday cards. Since I have six grandchildren aged under 7, this is something I will get a lot of use from. Only the numeral 11 is on a Christmas bauble, and that won't be a problem because there is a sum for 22 (11 + 11 = 22). Isn't that cute?

My card is for Rita's sketch at  Freshly Made Sketches and uses the colours at Color Throwdown, and the letters and numbers on the sample triggered my thoughts toward this somewhat generic birthday card. The colours look great together, don't they? I substituted Lucky Limeade for Kiwi Kiss.

I used Tag Talk for the first time today too. It was rather frustrating as I could not find the Label Bracket Punch anywhere. I called my husband to help look for it, sometimes a man-look is more effective than a confused-crafter-look!!!
He couldn't find it either! (Yes, I do have rather a lot of punches!!!) He suggested that I hadn't ordered it yet, and then I began to doubt myself, so I had to check over the invoices until I found it.
Not long after that, I had another look through the three baskets of punches, and there it was!!!The tag was stamped once in Lucky Limeade and once in Bermuda Bay and then I hand cut the Birthday segment and popped it with a couple of Dimensionals. Now that its been christened, I'm sure it will get quite a workout.

Hope you're planning some crafty fun, thanks for reading my blog,

Rachel
