Welcome back to Colour INKspiration. You may be starting here with me or maybe you've come from Nikki Spencer. Another delightful colour combination from Colour Inkspiration for challenge #05, pretty pastels this time. We are a group of Aussie and NZ Stampin' Up!® demonstrators, creating samples based on Pinterest inspired colour swatches. There is a Facebook group for Stampin' Up!® enthusiasts who would like to share their paper craft projects using the colour combinations. You don't need a blog, and you don't need to be a demonstrator. This colour selection is so soft and sweet, it said "baby" to me.
To retain that softness, I stamped in Stampin' Up!® Archival Ink in Basic Grey. Made With Love provided all of the pictorial stamps, while an embossing folder Celebrations Duo TIEF and a photopolymer stamp set, Happy Celebrations, were the source of the words. With a little ink from the stamp pads and an Aqua Painter, it was easy to colour these cute animals.
It might be difficult to see, but the Embossing Folder impresses 'Happy' into the card, and to emphasise this, I watercoloured with Blushing Bride in the letters. Because this will be for a baby girl, there are some pink blossoms scattered around and some lovely, soft, white ribbon.
Next stop on this blog is Tricia Raineri, you'll be amazed at her gorgeous wedding card box!
Cheers, Rachel
