Home For Christmas RS#134

I've had some fun and  got my fingers very inky, playing with masking and sponging again. Just a slightly different technique from yesterday's. You are welcome to join a Christmas Class at the end of October if you live near South Morang, Victoria.

Holiday Home is a very cute photopolymer stamp set from the latest Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalogue. It's very adaptable and can be used for Halloween, Christmas, House-warming and in lots of other scenarios too, I'm sure. The greetings from Endless Wishes have a lovely variety of fancy fonts, and plain.

I had seen the sketch at Retrosketches and thought about it for several days before letting loose with ink. The composition of this scene is fairly simple, the house is one piece, the wreath on the door and Christmas lights are separate, Santa and his reindeer has been curved a little more than it is in the pack: so easy to do with photopolymer.
I had a Banner Framelit still near the Big Shot after my last card, so cut red with it this time. The square surround for the picture has one side only cut with the largest scalloped Square Framelit and the silver Baker's Twine was handy too.

Have you made any Christmas Cards yet?
Cheers, Rachel
