Love Cats

Sometimes as the end of a catalogue approaches you find a stamp set that hasn't been used, and if it is retiring it's even worse! I bought Love Cats early on in the year and fully intended to use it a lot, but it didn't happen. Over Easter, when it was so cold and wet, I made this birthday card.

Using Delicate Desert DSP for the front, it was die cut with Picture This dies. The same process was used with Rain & Shine specialty DSP, and two of the windows were inserted behind the cats. They have been heat embossed with black embossing powder, it gives them a nice sheen.

Even this one on the inside has been heat embossed but the verse is just stamped in black Memento ink. Best Day is another retiring stamp set with a cat, and that is where that little sentiment came from.
