The participants in AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop are all Stampin' Up! demonstrators and members of Art With Heart. We love to Blog Hop sharing all the Stampin' Up! Colours alphabetically. This is week #42 and Real Red is our colour.
Another week where I have used the feature colour in a minimal way, along with some soft pastel colours which allows Real Red to make a bold statement. Adhesive paper came into its own on the back of the Real Red card. When the grid and hearts were die cut, it made it so much easier to attach.
Share a Milkshake bundle is such a fun set and not just for kids either. We made these cards at my February classes and the variety achieved by changing up the designer series papers was amazing, but they all used the Real Red accents.
Two of these cards can be cut from the one sheet of paper, I have no idea what this fun-fold is called so if you 'd like to tell me, I'd be most appreciative.
Next talented team member to share is Diane Furniss, so let's see how she has mixed up the colours!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card! The fancy fold is awesome, and the pops of red look amazing. Super cute!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what that fun fold is called, Rachel, but I love it! Those little pops of red are so effective, too.
ReplyDeleteReal Red is such a bold colour I agree it is best to use it a minimalist way. Such a great fancy fold card Rachel.
ReplyDeleteYou may have used the feature colour in a minimal way Rachel, but having the Real Red accents on the diagonal is very effective. Fiona Ryan
ReplyDeleteGreat fun fold! Love the softness you've managed to achieve on this card.
ReplyDeleteI think it's something like a diagonal fold... but whatever it is, this is lovely in pastels with that bright pop of red, Rachel!
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sweet, fun, card, Rachel. The Real Red elements really pop against the soft pastel colours; nice choice!
ReplyDeleteOh Rachel, this is such a gorgeous fun card! I love how the red just pops against those softer colours.
