Do You Want Ink With That?

Although I have been a Stampin' Up!® demonstrator for almost 8 years, my mother was a big fan of Stampin' Up!® long before me. when she passed all those years ago, I was astonished at the size of her collection! Let me just add, she lived in New Zealand and I live in Melbourne Australia, and although we were in daily contact, we often met up to travel overseas together so I hadn't been to her house for quite a while.

Something which really surprised me were the number of coloured inkpads she owned. I was still of the mindset that you stamp in black and colour your images, and of course, even in the current catalogues there are stamps that are perfect for that too.

Abstract Impressions (page 129 Annual Catalogue) is a perfect example of why you might want coloured ink. It is also a good stamp for every level of stamper, as the images do not have to be perfectly lined up for a very pretty card. With the revamp of the Stampin' Up! colours, there is something for everyone, in every hue you could desire. I've picked Balmy Blue & Melon Mambo for ink and card, Memento Black, Powder Pink & Call Me Clover for the other ink.
