My Favourite Hostess Set CTC106

All the Hostess stamp sets are fabulous, but I picked Pun Intended to CASE this week. I can hardly wait to do the Blog Hop to see what the other Crew members have made this week. We're CASE-ing ANY Hostess set, from the Annual or Holiday Catalogues. I love beeing on the CASE-ing The Catty Crew, because the other members inspire me so much! I'm following the special K's - Kathryn and Krissy and you can pop back to Krissy's blog here.

My first card is almost a direct CASE of the light globe card. The base card is a different colour, of course, I've stamped light globes as the background stamp and cut a double banner instead of the rectangle the Stampin' Up!® designers used. Because the Dapper Denim is a dark card, the inside has a layer of Whisper White added with a strip of Peekaboo Peach washi tape and another stamped image.

For the second card, I was also inspired by the picture. I took Sunshine Sayings from the shelf, and chose the framelit of the flower to use on Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper (both sides of the one piece). Then I had to use the square Stitched Framelit, and the Sweet Sugarplum card was cut with a scalloped square. The bee was stamped twice, and fussy-cut before the Peekaboo Peach body was glued on top. It is dragging a banner saying 'Happy Bee-day' if you aren't sure. Another sentiment from Watercolor Wishes is on the card below the washi tape.

My third card comes pretty much from my head. I stamped 'Snappy Birthday' all over the background. Then I had an accident with the Momento black inkpad, smudging a rectangle shape onto the base card. I cut four different sizes of card in shades of blue with the Stitched Framelit squares, and strategically covered the 'Ooopsy!' Previously, I'd planned to stack the squares so it was only a variation.

You might be wondering how you can get your hands on some of these 'Hostess Only' stamp sets we're featuring this week. Actually, it's not that hard.

You host a party, invite some friends over to have some stamping fun, I'll come with a demonstration and a Make & Take and they order up because they love the products too......

Or you can hold a Catalogue party where you show the catalogue to friends, work colleagues, anyone really and with a Hostess Code (supplied by me) all those online orders are grouped together with you as the hostess.....

Or then again, maybe you're like me, and you could easily spend $250 getting some stamp sets and inkpads and card that you've really been wanting for ages, after all Christmas is coming....

Do any of those scenarios sound good? If so, feel free to contact me - Rachel Palmieri - I'm an independent Stampin' Up!® demonstrator in South Morang, Victoria - or contact another of the crew if they're closer to you. Email me or phone 0417 500 681 or just go straight to my online store to make an order.

We love it when you join our challenges, and you can do that by linking here.

Next you're heading over to another very special lady, Kelly Kent

See you soon
Cheers, Rachel
