CTC #442 CASE a Sketch

CASE-ing The Catty Crew are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from Australia & New Zealand who take inspiration weekly from the catalogues. The catalogues are a fantastic resource, and we love to inspire you to seek inspiration there too.

This week we are CASE-ing  a Sketch from page 48 of the mini catalogue. That's the No Bones About It card, but to make it simpler, we have a sketch for you to use.

Each of my cards is a variation of the sketch, using Inked & Tiled stamp plus Inked Botanical DSP just to share how versatile a sketch can be.

Card 1:

A single sheet of DSP for the background, with Lost Lagoon cut with a Countryside Corners die and a tag die from Merriest Trees.

Just for a bit of fun the tag has been tilted.

Card 2:

My pack of paper had a lot of leftover strips, so I decided to use the smallest stitched square from Stylish Shapes dies and create a patchwork background.

This is the same label as card one, stamped with a small stamp to give some texture. Another stamp from Inked & Tiled was stamped along the bottom to fill that space.

Card 3:

Nearly the same as Card 2 with a change of colour for the label. While I was embossing the label, I added in a strip for the bottom of this card. Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder is the name of this one and doesn't it look lovely on the Very Vanilla?

We love for you to share your projects using the challenges. We do request that the projects you submit have been created especially for this challenge. You can CASE directly or be inspired by a sketch/layout, colour combo or embellishment. Ask to join our Facebook group, and then add a picture of your CASE.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the crew make using the sketch this week, my favourite type of challenge.
Next CTC design Team member joining the hop this week is Rebecca Scurr
