This week our colour is Daffodil Delight, a lovely sunny yellow in the brights family and I decided to make a side-step card.
Time to make a start on the grandkid's birthday cards for the remainder of the year before the real Christmas rush begins. Three of my grandsons are in their teens, and food, especially 'junk' food seems to be a key interest!
I decided a side-step card would be the ideal platform for "Pizza guy" for one of my about-to-be 14s. You can find Supremely Awesome on page 80 of the Annual catalogue.

Yes, this is a fabulous card for a teeneager, Rachel! I love how the sidestep design lets you place the sentiment to the side of the image, so it takes centre stage.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can just hear the music from the Dolmio ads! Your card is so much fun, and perfect for a junk food loving teenager.
ReplyDeletePerfect card for a teenager Rachel, your pizza man looks great on the side step card
ReplyDeleteOh Rachel, what a delightful Pizza side step card. While I need to be restrained because I’m gluten free, I so love your chef and pieces of pizza. Lovely colouring and the sentiment on the side works so well. Its yummy and will be loved by your grandson. xxx
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card, Rachel! I love your choice of papers, and use of the Nested Essentials Die for the top part of the sentiment. Great card for one of your grandsons. x
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect card for a teenage boy Rachel. They all love pizza! That sentiment is rather corny isn't it? haha
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it! Your teenage grandkids will love this card for sure. I can almost here the italian tunes and I love that crosshatch stamping, almost like he is tossing his dough in the air. Such a fun card, Rachel.
