My Stacking Dolls cQc#258

It seems to me that the Babushka Dolls in Today & Everyday suit these colours quite well, and I am aiming to make one of each image. Colour Q has this combo at their challenge this week, and it is well worth checking what others have made. I'm thinking that the card is a touch plain, and it was difficult to show the differences between Hello Honey (the hood and one stripe) and So Saffron (hair). I've used Stampin' Write Markers again and cut banners from Blackberry Bliss and Moonlight DSP Paper Stack. The banner isn't actually long enough to cover the length of the card, so I sliced it down the middle and placed it to each end, with the gap in the middle covered by the stamped square.

We had a lovely playdate today with four-year-old Logan while his mum and dad got to spend some special one-on-one time with two-year-old Tyler. We all spent time together in the sunshine when they came after lunch to collect Logan, and all in all, it was a lovely time.

Another day at work tomorrow, but school holidays begin at the end of the week, so maybe I'll have more time to spend with my grandchildren, and maybe more time to stamp too.

  1. Perfect use of the colours Rachel - I think you're right...they're really suited to those babushka dolls. Thanks for playing along at Colour Q!
